Cutest Little Girly

Lilly Loves the Beach

Breed: Jack Russell Terrier/American Pit Bull TerrierWeight: 40 pounds
Gender: Male
Favorite Food: Boots loves his Flint River Ranch food. He used to act like we were giving him poison every time we fed him. So we switched to Flint River Ranch food and he eagerly eats it up twice a day!
Favorite Activities: He's obsessed with chasing the laser light, and he loves his cat, Buster.
Story: He has the world's most expensive knees because he has had two TPLO surgeries (thanks to Dr. Rousch) and he's only 3 years old. Thanks to his Dad (Paul) for saving him... Boots is priceless to us!
He gets so much attention because he looks like the dog in "Mask" (Jim Carrey movie) with the mask on! He's met hundreds of dogs as he goes to work every day with his Dad. Boots has his own mind and seems to only do things that he wants to do.

Little E
Breed: Terrier MixWeight: 24 pounds
Gender: Male
Favorite Food: He loves Flint River Ranch (¾ cup twice per day)—you could use him for a video: he leaps about 4 feet in the air while I am bringing his bowl to him!
Favorite Activities: He loves to play, play, play, run, run, and run. Three times per week, he hikes 3-5 miles with Dad who "lets me run and flush out anything that I want to in the hills."
Favorite Place to Sleep: He sleeps with Buster, his (real) cat, Boots, his Terrier brother, and his Mom and Dad—very cozy.
Special Skills or Responsibilities: He's an overachiever; anything you teach him he instantly retains and understands.
Story: Last October, I went to the local shelter to find a large American Pit Bull Terrier because I know that they are difficult to place and we wanted to find a buddy for our Terrier, Boots. Instead, I picked Little E out of over 20 dogs. He weighed about 12 pounds and was about 5 months old. When we took him to the play area to see if there's a match, I left him for a few minutes to use the rest room and my sister said he just cried and worried the entire time I was away. We tested him a bit—my sister left and he didn't cry. I knew that we were meant for each other.

Now he is so loved and so very cared for, my husband brings him to work everyday and hikes with him in the evenings. And we both pick him up and tell him that he has a forever home with us and that he never has to worry about anything again. He has more toys and more dog friends than he could have ever imagined! Lately, he brings a toy to everyone he meets! Every time you call him he looks at you with one ear higher than the other and it is like he is saying, "What?!"
Little E is named after Dale Earnhardt, Jr., the race car driver.

Breed: DachshundVariety: Miniature
Weight: 15 poundsGender: Female
Favorite Food: She thrives on Flint River Ranch.
Nickname: TT
Favorite Activities: She loves snuggling and burrowing.
Favorite Place to Sleep: She sleeps under the electric blanket.
Special Skills or Responsibilities: She is very protective and LOVES her brothers!
Story: A true rescue, we found her after she ran through the middle of a highway intersection in Southern California. She was terrified. I drove her to Northern California the next day and my husband took care of her. He continues to claim that our loving Pit Bull mix, big daddy Boots, became her soul and saved her. It took her a few weeks before she would come to us and now she is so happy! She goes on walks with daddy Boots every night and she looks forward to going to the beach—she LOVES the beach!
