With Hurt Foot
Bubba at 5 Years

Gail at 10 Weeks

With Deanna's Mother Gail, after Whom the Other Puppy Was Named.

Breed: Domestic Shorthair CatWeight: 20 pounds
Gender: Male
Favorite Food: He loves his food, Flint River Ranch Cat and Kitten. Not only did I initially try a side-by-side preference taste test with the previously fed dry food, but the reason I still retain half of the original nine pound purchase is because Bubba has slowed down in consumption. Protein over cereal wins every time, I see. The cat food is high enough in protein to have drastically slowed my five year old's consumption to a cup a day, if and when he actually eats that before the newly acquired puppy gets to it. We are very happy with his attitude concerning food, whereas in the past having a full bowl was his only concern. (Now he walks away, and comes back three or four times, typically cat style, to finish in a day) He has gained more mass, as muscle, if that is possible, and not fat, since being on this food, and we are quite pleased with his response. He is large (20 pounds) and fast, and will as yet dominate the neighborhood of cats for a long time.
Favorite Activities: He occasionally gets into fights and bites that ultimately disable him and my wallet.
He is in love with people, except small children rushing up to grab the 'kitty', which he fears.

Breed: Cocker Spaniel (American)/Rat Terrier MixWeight: 4 pounds
Gender: Female
Favorite Activities: She loved to play with her stuffed buffalo, her favorite toy.
Story: I picked up Gail at Wal-Mart, where a couple were giving away a basket of free puppies.
Unfortunately, Gail didn't make it to one year. She was alert, intelligent, and very active. She did well with her house breaking. She kept us laughing with her antics and spunk. We couldn't call her a dull pup, that is for sure! She was a much loved addition to our family. We do miss her.

Breed: Labrador RetrieverGender: Female
Story: She came to us undernourished and having issues of abandonment and with not enough protein in her diet to provide for adequate fur growth.

In the four months since we have had her, she has put on 30 pounds and practically another coat of additional fur since being switched from 'corn-based feed' from the stores, to a clearly much needed, and desired protein food. She has since given up sneaking the cat's Flint River Ranch food, totally content with what she needs and gets twice a day.
