"I'm cute and I know it!"
Gizmo at 19 Weeks

"Okay, what can I get into?"
Pixie at 21 Weeks

Breed: Japanese ChinWeight: 5 pounds
Gender: Male
Favorite Food: Flint River Ranch Puppy and Adult Kibble and FRR Drywater, carrots, peanut butter, cheese, Greenies, Nylabone Edibles, popcorn, and piggy twists.
Favorite Activities: Spending time with me and sleeping. He loves his toys - he'll pull every single one of them out. He likes to play "Where's LeAnn?" (my teenage cousin who lives with me - Gizmo loves her and goes absolutely nuts when she gives him attention!), and playing with my Mom's two Cavalier King Charles Spaniels and LeAnn's little Chihuahua.
Favorite Place to Sleep: Wherever I am! He'll curl up at my feet when I'm on the computer or next to me on the sofa, and he always sleeps with me at night.
Special Skills or Responsibilities: Pull out a camera, and Gizmo will sit and freeze! He loves to pose for the camera because he knows he'll get a treat afterwards. He does those little "chin spins" (a trait that is famous with this breed) too - sort of. He will jump and spin in mid-air instead! Simple ground "chin spins" just aren't his style. Every night, right before bedtime, he gets really hyper and runs all over the place like crazy - jumping on and off the furniture and throwing his toys around. I called him Gizmo because I think he looks like the real Gizmo - but he acts like a Gremlin sometimes too. No after midnight feedings for him! He's really very sweet and playful, but sometimes when he's aggravated he makes this strange growl - it kind of sounds like he's growling underwater! He rarely does it with me, but all my husband has to do is touch him and he starts making that sound. My sister likes to aggravate him on purpose just to get him to make his strange growl.
Story: I wanted a friendly small dog and I searched on the Internet for a breed that would be compatible with me and my lifestyle. I used the dog breed selector on the Animal Planet's website and they matched me up with (among others) a Japanese Chin. I read every detail I could find about Chins and realized this would be the perfect dog for me. When I saw Gizmo I fell in love with his picture. He was so fluffy and cute! He came from a breeder in Oklahoma and had to fly down. Chins are wonderful little dogs with huge personalities and Gizmo turns heads wherever we go. I'm very happy Gizmo has come to live with us!

Breed: ChihuahuaVariety: Long-Haired
Weight: 3 poundsGender: Female
Favorite Food: FRR Puppy and Adult Kibble and Drywater, bananas (she LOVES them!), peanut butter, cheese, Greenies, piggy twists, Nylabone Edibles, and popcorn.
Favorite Activities: Playing with her toys, going places, and being told by everyone she meets how cute she is!
Favorite Place to Sleep: With her Mama of course! But she will settle for her cuddle bed when I'm at school.
Special Skills or Responsibilities: Pixie loves to give me kisses! She doesn't bark too much like some Chihuahuas do, but she will let you know if she hears any strange noise or sound. She feels it's her duty. She's very bossy and possessive of what she considers "hers". She will take Gizmo's (my cousin's dog) toys and won't let him play with them! But she's a very friendly and social Chihuahua. She gets along really good with new dogs or humans - as long as they understand she is the Boss! If she doesn't want to do something, she'll just simply ignore you! Her only responsibility is to keep me company - a job she excels at.
Story: Pixie was my birthday present from my boyfriend Bennett earlier this year when I turned 17. She was the best birthday present anyone could've given me!
Pixie belongs to LeAnn M. Ashley, Angela's cousin who lives with her.
